Playing with reality
Friday, December 19th, 2008Boffswana has with Flash created a Papervision virtual 3D character. The webcam reads a pattern on a paper and places a 3D generated character on your screen and follows the paper’s directions as long as the webcam still can read the pattern on the paper. This technology is open-source, so download the file and make your own 3D model.
To try out the existing virtual 3D character, use a webcam with enabled Flash access and follow the instructions.
